This policy applies to the Mira iPhone app and this website. Mira is operated by QUINTX AI LTD (“Mira”, “we”, “us”). Privacy requests can be sent to sonia@quintellx.ai.

The short version

Data we process

Camera images and selected photos

When you request analysis, Mira sends a resized live-camera image or selected photo to Google’s Gemini service over an encrypted connection. It is used to generate the requested advice, description, or colour/profile analysis.

Mira does not operate a server-side image library and does not intentionally retain the submitted source image. Images you add to your style library are stored in Mira’s app container on your iPhone. Temporary frames and image caches may remain in device memory while a feature is running.

Voice and generated responses

If you use voice input, Apple Speech Recognition may process your audio and return a transcript. Mira can send the transcript, selected image, and relevant style and weather context to Google Gemini to generate text and, when enabled, speech audio. Text-only mode is available in settings.

Style profile and other content

Mira may generate or store colour season, undertone, palette, face-shape, neckline, personal-style, wardrobe-description, shopping-query, and recent outfit-memory text. You may also enter notes. This content is stored locally unless included as context in a request to Gemini.

Mira does not ask for your name, email address, password, age, height, weight, gender, body measurements, or ethnicity. Optional image analysis may infer styling-related characteristics such as undertone or face shape.

Anonymous identity and diagnostics

Mira uses Firebase Authentication to create a random anonymous user identifier. This is not a public profile and there is no sign-in screen. Firebase App Check, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, and Remote Config may process identifiers, IP address, app/device information, screen views, feature events, crash records, and performance measurements to protect the service, measure usage, configure features, and diagnose faults.

Mira records AI usage measurements such as model name, feature source, latency, and token counts. Diagnostic logging is designed not to include photos, raw speech, transcripts, precise coordinates, or generated styling content.

Location and weather

If you grant location permission, Mira requests current coordinates and sends them to Open-Meteo to retrieve current weather. Mira uses kilometre-level accuracy and does not add the coordinates to your style profile. Styling continues without weather context if you deny or revoke access.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions through StoreKit. Mira receives purchase and entitlement information from Apple. A random StoreKit app-account token and billing ledger—including plan, entitlement period, and remaining looks—are stored in the iOS Keychain to validate access and reduce allowance-reset abuse.

Why we use this data

We process data to provide requested styling and accessibility features, maintain subscriptions, secure the service, prevent abuse, configure features, diagnose failures, and understand app performance. Where applicable, these activities rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Mira, your consent for optional permissions, and compliance with legal obligations.

Mira does not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Storage and retention

Local style data remains until you remove it in Mira or delete the app. Deleting the app removes app-container data, but iOS Keychain billing data and the anonymous Firebase credential may survive reinstallation. Apple retains purchase records under its own terms.

Google states that Crashlytics retains crash records and associated identifiers for 90 days before removal begins, Performance Monitoring retains IP-associated events for 30 days and installation-associated/de-identified data for 60 days, and Firebase Authentication retains most authentication information until the developer deletes the anonymous user.

Firebase AI Logic does not itself store model inputs and outputs, but the configured Gemini provider and optional AI monitoring can have separate retention rules. Mira currently uses Google Cloud/Vertex-backed Firebase AI services. We will update this policy if that configuration changes.

Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, keep required business records, and resolve disputes.

These providers may process data internationally and under their own terms. We require providers handling data for Mira to protect it consistently with applicable law and their contractual obligations.

Because Mira does not collect your name or email in the app, we may need the anonymous Firebase identifier or diagnostic details to locate a record. Some records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance.

UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. EEA users may contact their local supervisory authority.

Children

Mira is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that age or have permission from a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy when Mira’s features or providers change. The date above identifies the current version.
